Why Ecovert Recycling?
The dilemma
Did you know we consume over 100 billion tons of raw materials every year? Of which only 8.6% is recycled into new raw material! Imagine if instead of fabricating new raw material we could recycle our waste back into raw materials instead of sending it to landfills/incinerators/oceans or better yet finding ways to reuse our waste to eliminate the fabrication process entirely. Reusing items is great as long as you can find the right outlet, but that can take a lot of time and/or coordination. Recycling options do exist for many items, however, residential recycling solutions are limited especially when it comes to curbside recycling. Curbside recycling is great for accepted items such as cardboard, various plastics and cans, but many more items such as Styrofoam, plastic bags and batteries, have the ability to be recycled just that they must be brought to a specific place to be recycled. Ecovert Recycling supports households reduce their waste and supports a circular economy.
We aim to close the gap left by traditional recycling in a way to make it easy for Everyone
Mission
To make reusing items & recycling the “hard to recycle” items EASIER, more CONVENIENT, and more ACCESSIBLE for the community
Vision
A sustainable community where every household and business is able to access and participate in responsible recycling and waste management practices.
Value
We value environmental stewardship, community, transparency, and innovation in our efforts to make recycling easier for everyone.
At Ecovert Recycling, we take a unique approach by championing a true circular economy, where waste is not discarded but kept in continuous use. Unlike traditional recycling programs, which often fall short in managing items that don’t fit standard processes, we focus on refurbishing, reusing, and recycling the “leftovers” in innovative ways.
Many everyday products are excluded from residential recycling services because they require specialized processes, aren’t cost-effective, or risk damaging equipment. Although many products are recyclable or can be reused, they may be required to be dropped off at specific locations possibly during business hours. For many busy families, this is not the top priority. This is the gap we hope to fill. We aim to make it easy for busy families and those without transportation to be able to access solutions to recycle or reuse their items instead of throwing it in the trash. For every item we receive, we actively explore how it can be reused. If that’s not possible, we send it to trusted companies with the right facilities to break it down and repurpose it into new materials, thus reducing waste and contributing to the creation of new products. Our commitment goes beyond just recycling; we strive to turn waste into valuable resources, minimizing its environmental impact and creating a more sustainable future and circular economy.
